Itouch question: do i have to jailbreak first or downgrade?

my itouch is a 1.1.5 and what do you mean by 2.0 firmware?

depends on your firmware. if it has a firmware over the jailbreaks firmware then you have to downgrade.

If you have 2.0 firmware you need to downgrade to get the better installer. However you can jailbreak using the 2.0 firmware but the installer is something called cydia and from personal use it not as good as the old installer. For the old firmware (below 2.0) i would recommend using ziphone.org. Good luck!
