Im in my room so should I turn the AC on? I try and conserve energy however it is hot and humid!!!!

you can save electricity open a window at high level and an other at low level this should create a natural draft try it

yes turn on a/c,sounds like your house needs more cross ventilation windows...keep the air moving inside house better.
