Its 8thweek pregnancy.. and suddenly bleeding started,went4 scan but no sac in uterus, docs saying its aborted

is that possible, without my notice how can it be aborted and 2 weeks before we had a scan then in uterus sac is there with 5 weeks growth.now suddenly radiologist saying no sac inside and its been 3 days its bleeding am i pregnant or not? or any chances of baby growing in tube. please advice me.

Unfortunately women have miscarriages all the time some of which didn't even know they were pregnant and just assumed the bleeding was their periods. It is actually estimated that up to 45 % of all women miscarry even if they do not know it has occured. Ultrasound scans are a way to prove a pregnancy even as early as 4 weeks, so there is little to no possiblitity that the ultra sound is wrong. A miscarriage now does not mean you will not be able to carry a healthy baby to term. I have personally had three miscarriages one of which being a twin pregnancy, and now I have healthy twin boys carried with no complications. A tubal or Ectopic pregnancy would have been ruled out in your first ultrasound scan, considering that is is a very dangerous complication. I am so sorry for your loss. It can be very hard going through a miscarriage, but please remember your focus should be on why you had it. Let the doctors look into it just to make sure there is nothing going on that could have caused it. Usually it is just natures way, but sometimes there is a problem. Rely on family and friends to help you through this tough time.

1st of all i am really sorry to hear of your loss. i miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks only last week so i know how you are feeling.

it may be possible for you to have miscarried without knowing. the fetus could have passed when you were doin the toilet. to date i am still bleeding slightly but cant say i noticed anything apart from the occasional clot.

as for growing in your tube, i had an ectopic last year. you would know by 8 weeks if you had an ectopic, i was 6 weeks and in terrible pain. its a pain you have never felt in your life and always at 1 side (the side ectopic on) so i wouldnt worry about that if you have had no pain.

they did not scan me when i miscarried they took hcg levels to make sure they were falling so i presume they have done this with you? good luck huni i wish you all the best x*x

Maybe you had a miscarriage with out knowing your bleeding.

well the doctors would know what happened just ask questions.

It's possible it could be in another tube just try not to worry and go to the doctor or maybe 8weeks is to early to see the baby.

I'd say from the 2nd scan you have miscarried, I'm so sorry. Scans at such an early stage as the first one are very hard to read. There is also the possibility that there were 2 fertilisde eggs and both have gone now.

with all the bleeding, youprobably miscarried and didnt even know it. im sorry. for what it sounds i dont think you are pregnant anymore, and you should seek help from your doctor, on what to do next in case you want to try again later

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is possible to have a scan and see the baby, hear their heart beat, and then 2 weeks later loose them.  I had the same thing happen to me last year.  It was a rather difficult time to say the least.  I mourned for 6 months, and then attempted to get pregnant.  I am now pregnant and so far so good.
