Its July 31st...why are kids going back to school so early here in Ga?

what happened to summer vacation?

what could possibly be the reason to start the school year on a Friday?

In the UK we finished on the 23rd of July i think it was and we're off back 3rd September.

That's a bit wierd going back now.

its australia here. it is winter, and i have been back at school for three weeks, after 3 wks holiday.

I go to a private school in Ga and we start on the 18th of August but the DeKalb county public schools start on the 11.
