Can you solve it

Five men went to church. It started to rain. Four men ran for cover, but got wet on the way. The one man who stayed behind stayed dry. How??

  2. i don't know...um...they were under an awning or in a building when it started to rain?that way the fifth man, who didn't move, didn't get wet??
