Ok, so its my 30th birthday this weekend. I have gone back to college to study, therefore funds are low...I asked my bank to change my repayment date for my direct debits and bank loan to 22nd August....they emailed me to say its all done. They even clarified and confirmed the dates!! THEN today, I check my account...theres no money in there.

Im so upset! Its my b.day celebrations tomorrow! I cant even afford to go!

I spoke to a manager at my bank tonight who was helpful but couldnt refund the mistake! he did try to refund a charge from May to soften the blow. He said hes 99% sure the reversed charge should come back to my account tomorrow..but theres a chance it wont as its a saturday! does anyone know if it can still go in tomorrow? My bank is HSBC.

Im not sure how these things work and I am so upset! They have left me with nothing! its going to ruin my celebrations! I have no overdraft or savings!!

  1. if they money doesnt go in tomoz rering your bank and go biserc they will get the message also thell them they have runined your birthday they might feel guilty

what has this got to do whith rainy days

  2. If you talked to them this morning then they should have enough time to get it back on there by tomorrow, dont get too down, whatever happens is going to happen regardless. I know this doesnt make you feel any better but your here, your healthy, and you made it to your 30th, be happy.
