I use to go swimiing pool when I was 12. I don' remember how i learn't but I use to swim. ofcourse not like a pro but i would drown. After 8 years( i stopped swiiming around 13),today I went to seim with my cousin. he was saying i was kicking my legs like a wild man. I can swim, but a man who drunk and trying to swim. how can i control my legs. my hands are pretty good but my legs are wild. i moved to new apt it has pool right outside my apt. If I open my main door the first thing i see is big pool and summer is right across the coner and i need to swim quietly. I have a hairy body and i am pretty big( 5'9 and 172lbs) so i go in night time after 8 to swim. i don't wanna disturb my neighor and pool is right in middle. i don't who h**l's idea it was. pool in middle of the apts. even u talk near the pool on the phone I can hear u. so help me out.

  1. You could try using a pull buoy that will float your legs and then you just pull with your arms.  This will give you an idea of your body's attitude in the water--if you try to keep your head up, your legs will sink, drop your head and your legs float higher.  That's typically a reason why beginning swimmers kick a lot--they feel that their legs are sinking.  Once you get the hang of it, lose the buoy and then just concentrate on kicking just enough to keep your legs afloat.
