It’s all about Baltimore Ravens vs. QB Tom Brady on Sunday – NFL feature
It is all about the Baltimore Ravens vs. Tom Brady and New England Patriots at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday, January 22, 2012.
The Ravens are seen coming hard on the quarterback and have a strategy for it.
Apparently, the strategy is to speak high of him before one of the most important games for them. From their coach to all defence players, they are full of praise for the QB.
The linebacker, Ray Lewis, called him one of the best quarterbacks of all times. Jarret Johnson, another linebacker, at the Ravens said he aims to pressure the QB on fear that if he was let free he would “kill you.”
Their coach, John Harbaugh, labelled him as one of the elite quarterbacks in the history of the National Football League (NFL). Almost all of other Ravens players have showered Brady with the same level of praise and creditability of his game skills.
Almost all of them stand united in their aim to rough him up when he shows up on the field this weekend.
The team is aware of his 4-1 record that he holds against them. His one loss was back in the playoff game in 2008 and has remained a hundred per cent, otherwise.
One of the unique characteristics of his throws is accuracy and stability. No one is as much aware of the Brady’s skills as Ravens’ linebacker, Terrell Suggs. He had been upfront against the QB in all previous games. He also has messed up with him on a couple
of occasions.
Suggs has downplayed all those situations and described himself to have changed quite a lot. Obviously, he stills remains alert and well prepared to face off against him yet again.
Terrell Suggs, along with Ray Lewis and Jarret Johnson, are in the spotlight of the Ravens defence. They had their job well done in most of the Ravens victories in the 2011 National Football League (NFL) regular season.
They were even impressive in their playoff game against the Houston Texans.
Baltimore has suffocated offences of many teams on their way to playoff. Still, they are aware that the Patriots’ game is a different one. Clicking of all of them at the right time will matter the most in the possibility of their win.
The tie is an important one for both teams as it has a greater significance for the Ravens given the fact that they have been throught to the postseason round for past four consecutive years.
If they manage to pull off a victory on the weekend, it will be for the first time since 2008 that they will reach the supreme event of Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
Almost all of their players have expressed their ambitions and hopes of beating the Patriots, respectively.
In this pursuit, they are weighing going into the game with several strategies. For example, they have backed their offensive line-up to go aggressive on the Patriots defensive line in the game.
The role of their offence assumes greater responsibility given the reason that so far it had totally been a defence story in their wins.
Their coach, Harbaugh and safety, Ed Reed, have backed their quarterback, Joe Flacco, to perform better than their opposition to help his side secure a win.
Similarly, they have worked out a strategy to hold back the Patriots offence. Their foremost target is QB, Tom Brady. All the linebackers and safety have vowed to suffocate Brady on the weekend.
It will be seen how they handle him. For the time being, it is all good about the QB. They have spoken nothing ill of the player, who seems equally prepared to launch counterattacks with same level of respect and praise.
So it is all about, Tom Brady, until Sunday, the day which is set to determine the future courses of both sides.
