Its almost September 2008, how much closer are the public now than before in knowing who killed J.F.K ?

I've yet to fully read up on the former US Presidents pre-presedential history, presedential term in office, and post ...ah there wasn't one was there - 'they' killed him. in cold blood.

but who were 'they' ?

and what were their motives ? What was J.F.K doing or had done that had perhaps given the killer(s), a reason(s) to take him out ?

a close friend mentioned 'Bobby Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe and somebody 'doing it with Miss Monroe' (but not in those words) , i was absolutely stumped and had no idea as to wtf she was talking about. She gets bored discussing stuff like this with me as im a bit 'slow' , and its annoying. So i came here instead.

The very little info i have, is that there was a dude called Harvey oswald or something and he fired a sniper from a window in a building as the car went past ....then theres stuff about CIA and what not.

Since that time and now, how much of J.F.K's assassination has been explained and fully uncovered ? or are we still in no better place in knowing than we were back then when it happened ?

I intend to start reading/researching all about J.F.K, the Kennedys and so forth - to give myself enough knowledge to formulate my own theories and stuff heh.

please historians, conspiracy theorists, everyday people, ex CIA operatives - get back at me on this one heh.

I'll save you some eye strain and tell you what most of us figured out many, many years ago.  Oswald killed Kennedy.  End of story.  Elvis is dead, too.  Area 51 has no Martians.  You can relax now.

• This is all about money and power. Don't even start beating your brain and your heart over why this happened. It is about money and control over government to attain it.

• JFK opposed the sovereign operation of the CIA, especially in regard to the Bay of Pigs operation.

• The CIA conspired to kill him

• JFK was mildly backed by the FBI

• Just to show the FBI that they were no match for the prowess of the CIA they framed their murder of JFK on Oswald, a known FBI operative against communist sects in the United States.

• As far as the play-by-play of events leading to this gruesome crime:

George Bush Sr. was the most tied and responsible of all the conspirators.

I'm sure this is all coming to you as quite shocking news, considering that you may have had little idea of any of this before now, but rest assured you are not alone.

In actuality, I didn't answer your question at all because the PUBLIC no very little more than they did that sad fall of '63.

we will never know more than has been published. That is the official version and even if someone came forward we could not believe the story they may tell.I don't waste time on things I can't prove, and this event is set in stone. I would find something interesting like big foot or flying saucers, at least your theory would be as good as any others I have read, And I would read it.

There was only one gunmen. I know this because   It is entirely possible to c**k aim and fire the same rifle used 3 times in 3 seconds.   The conspiracy theorists put Connelly directly in front of kennedy.When in reality he sat to the front left of him.  Which means the bullet travelled on a straight trajectory.  Basic physics say that Kennedies head would have gone toward the shot because his brains would have gone out the front of the head resulting in a miniature jet blast that forced the head toward the shot.  Oswald was the only gunmen.

How close are we to discovering who shot Abraham Lincoln.

I know...a lot of you are going to say John Wilkes Booth.

But look at the facts. He is supposed to have pulled a gun, shot the President, jumped to the stage, and run away.

Doesn't that seem just a little TOO simple.

I mean just look at the facts. Are we to believe that an actor would shoot the President of the United States for HIS OWN personal reasons, without the benefit of a well thought out plot and a conspiracy involving every shadowy organization in existence.
