Its been 24 hours, should i take my son in to get a tatnus shot??

If you're unsure, then you should ask a doctor.  Just call the doctor's office and ask for advice.  That doesn't cost anything.

24 hrs since what? and depending on the age of the child/

Did he have an injury???  If he had an injury, even 24 hours afterward, he should be seen by a physician... If he stepped on a nail, got cut by metal, or put a staple through his hand.. (any injury pertaining to metal) you should definitely take him in to get a tetanus shot, or at least be seen by a doctor.  Good luck.

And what on earth does this have to do with TTC?

I think you're in the wrong forum.  This one is "Trying to Concieve".  

But if your son has an infection from a wound, then definately call the doctor ASAP!!!
