Its been 5 days since my boyfriends knee injury and he wants to go play golf today. Do you think this is safe?

My boyfriend sprained his knee playing golf about 5 days ago and he wants to play golf today and his knee is still kinda swollen but he went to the doctor and they they said he has a sprained knee.

He is wearing a knee brace and he says its not bothering him.

do you guys think he should chance it today and play golf?

No. Golf puts a lot of rotational stress on the knee which the brace won't help with. Take a look at Tiger Woods. He played the US Open this year with a knee that was operated on and continued to play against doctor's order. Where is he now? Off the golf circuit, healing his knee because he made it worse.

Rest now. Unless your boyfriend wants a damaged knee for the rest of his life.
