Its been 5 years and my privet hedge is still not all the same size?

how many years does it take to fill in all the way. I am trimming it but it looks like c**p because certain areas haven't caught up to the rest....any solutions?

  1. Cut it back to just below the lowest part.  It will continue to grow, and you will have to trim it evenly as it does.
