  1. my aunty had breast cancer, the breast was removed and she is now fine 6years on

my mums friend had breast cancer and also her breast was removed ans she is now fine

    breast cancer is very treatible

  2. how advanced is the cancer? breast cancer can have remissions and if she's treated quickly she might recover. what you're feeling is a normal reaction to a loved one getting cancer. just spend more time with her and tell her how much you love her.

  3. Any cancer diagnosis is traumatic and frightening.  Your feelings are absolutely normal.  I was diagnosed in February 2007 with breast cancer.  It's a battle, but there are so many treatments available to us nowadays and there are so many survivors.  Is there a local support group you can both go to?    It's so important to stay as positive as you can.  I know that's hard sometimes, but keeping a positive attitude will help both her and you.

    My best to you both.
