She was denied entry to Canada a few years ago because of her conviction.  She was supposed to attend an event in Nova Scotia, and at the last minute, she didn't attend.  It was later discovered that her conviction made it necessary for her to apply for special permission to enter Canada, and there was no time.

however...she has enough money and friends at the top that I bet they make an exception for her......the wouldn't for you or I but they will for her
