Yes, it is. I'm Italian, I live in Sardinia and I honestly do love my country. We have obviously several problems here,like in evry other part of the world. But what makes Italy be such a wonderful country to live in, is the way we take life. It's not that we just don't care about problems, it's just that we're able to enjoy life EVENTHOUGH them! Besides friendly people evrywhere, food is delicious and healty and the weather is very nice! :)  If you don't believe me, come and see personally! ;)   Ciaoooooo!!

Like anywhere else on this planet. If you live in a beautyspot,enough money and good,true friends life can be great! Italy has many lovely places like Tuscany,Costa Amalfitana,Sicily etc. but it ain't cheap for a foreigner. No. One: knowing the language/customs and then maybe.

Italy is a WONDERFUL place to live. Great quality of live. But this bureaucracy! AAAAAAAAAARRRGHH!

I lived in Tuscany one year.  It was beautiful, the people, the landscape, the life.  However, it takes money, the only thing that's stopping me from living there now.

It's good but it is not all long summer days under Tuscan sun. It can also be difficult and life is stressed particularly in big cities like Milan. All in all it is a wonderful country and it is definitely one of the best countries in the world to live in.
