Here in the northeast part of Iowa it's about -15 below. I can't remember what hot weather feels like, although  this past summer for us we did have a few days up around 100 degrees.

Here in Denison Texas it is currently 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Was 23 degrees Fahrenheit this morning when I got up. So how hot is it there in Australia?

I live on the east coast in the U.S. and it is pretty cold!

Right now in Nova Scotia, Canada, it is 9:15 pm, snowy and minus 11 deg Celsius (12 deg F). With the windchill, it feels like minus 20 C (minus 2 F).

I'm not surprised as its the middle of your summer.

I'm in England and in the middle of winter. Its not as cold as you might expect (about 45F) but it is overcast and raining a lot. The days are short and a lot of people are suffering from colds.flu, winter vomiting virus and seasonal affective disorder.

Never mind about another 8 weeks and it should be the beginning of spring.
