  1. Draw attention to your eyes. Make your eye make up a little darker, more liner that day. Not necessarily shadows, but deeper liner. Also, put a dot of light, like a white high lighter on the center top of your forehead, the outer corner of your brows, & top of your cheek bone. It brings light to your face & accentuates it. Use contouring by using a darker cheek color under you blush, using blush only on the apples of your cheeks. Contouring, not smearing it in, too much. lip gloss,or stick, with liner afterwards too, will make your lips look fuller. If you want a fuller lip, put a light color on the cupids bow, & on the lower inside of the bottom lip.

  2. same problem! i always hate my pictures because my smile or expression looks completely dorky. just think of something funny someone had done that you had a nice laugh about. then you actually look happy in your picture because you were happy the first time =]

as for makeup - keep it natural like some others said. no need to overdo it or else you might look like someone your not and thats not the point of school pictures.

    remember smile =]

  3. I have the same problem. Everyone always says I'm beautiful but my pictures used to always be horrible. Here are some good tips-

For school pictures, wear natural makeup and a natural hairstyle (use foundation, a TINY bit of mascara and eyeliner, and a bit of lip gloss). This will look good for a picture. Just relax! Think of something funny (like the last time one of your friends fell over! :P) and just let yourself smile naturally. Hope this helps

  4. Angles make all the difference.

I never had a great school picture until my grade 10 photo. Just wake up earlier that morning and take time getting ready. Spend a little extra time on your hair and makeup and depending on who takes your pictures, you can check it out and if you don't like it, they can retake another one for you.

  5. take your pictures in natural light, liike outside, the sun provides the best and most natural lighting, and for your school pictures, smile like you genuinly mean it like you found something funny and your smiling but dont over do it lol.

  6. i think that it will help if you pose in the mirror alot more. like everytime u head for the bathroom or something pose like 4-5 different poses real fast. truthfully i think that helps alot. i hope i helped!
