Its it possible to ride a specialized demo uphill?

going to buy a specialized demo but i do xc and road aswell as dh and fr...could someone please tell me what they are like on that kind of terrian, thanks

NO, absolutely not....

...you can ride any bike uphill, but the Demo is gonna suck trying to do it. It's made for downhill so it's built like a tank and weighs about the same. But yes, you can, in fact, ride this uphill.

Yes, but its made for down hill.  You should ride one before you buy it, they are not very efficient.
