its just so sad that after all the changes and the new rules and practice and training still wushu wont go to the olympics thou they made rules for it and now its an open style where you make your own style and get judged for it but still it wont go for the olympics thats just sad isnt it

It is especially since it's being held in China. Perhaps it's because of a lack of widespread practice, though I know, through my Persian classes, that Wushu is a really popular sport for Iranian women. So I'm not even sure if my reason is valid. So... Sorry, I'm not sure, myself, but it is kinda sad. Especially with some people thinking Texas Hold'em should be an Olympic sport.

I would love to see more martial arts in the olympics. I would like to see open rules figthing like MMA, the Greeks did it so we should do it too.

The world denies the importance of martial arts even though they are the foundation of every culture and the basis for every sport.

At least they have TKD, Judo, wrestling, fencing, javelin, archery, shooting, boxing, discus, etc.
