I've been abandon by my mother since 13 and i was forced by florida laws to move to south carolina because that is where she wanted me to go so i wouldn't be near her. i left my ex up there and we decided to break it off for 2 weeks ago we dated for a month and knew each other for almost 3 months. I never loved him only lusted for the fear of being lonely.Now i'm 17 and about to enter in a serious relationship I'm not in a rush he is should i wait or does it matter?

Yes you should wait.  If he truly cares for you, he will be patient.  You have been through a lot in your life and need some stability before you jump into a serious relationship.
