  1. Being able to demonstrate financial solvency is just a small part of the non-immigrant visa adjudication process, and one of the least important.  They will be looking harder at your ties to your country - family, job, home ownership, etc.

  2. A guarantor in the US only shows the consul that you will have more reason not to go back to your country. If you have a substantial amount in your bank account, that will do but take note: The money in your bank account must have been there at least 6 months before your visa application to be of help for you. Otherwise it is treated as just "show money."**

  3. A guarantor in the USA? would this be like a BF? This will only guarantee that you get turned down as if your going to see a boy friend then you become a flight risk of not returning, if you can not show you have assets here in the Philippines don't waste your money as you won't get a visa, showing a guarantor in the USA won't help you as that will not show you have the means here in the Philippines to go and come back. Sorry
