I'm in exactly the same boat as you and I'd go to Alton Towers. It's just if the drive is stupidly long (like it is for me) I'd say Thorpe park. Stealth at thorpe parks looks amazing btw.

When I went to chessington 5 years ago I loved it but now i'm 15 it seems a bit too childsish.

Alton Towers or Thorpe Park.

Personally I would pick Alton Towers. I like the themeing better there hehe... I'm 17, so I can relate to the age difference better than adults can. Alton Towers has more rides, and in my opinion they have cooler rides. Nemesis is one of the best inverted coasters in the world, Oblivion has an 87 degree drop, Air just looks like fun... Rita is one of those I would travel across the ocean to ride on. That park is just so cool to me... You should definitely have it there. I live in the Mid West USA so I can't really say on crowds, but from my knowledge Alton Towers would be my pick.

If you can go when it's not a school holiday or weekend, Alton Towers is great. Otherwise it's not worth the money they charge for entrance. My friends and I once hired a minibus (and driver) and took a day off school when we were about 16. It was great. Every other time I've been though we got on about 5 rides throughout the whole day, spent a fortune to get in, and the food is expensive junk. Not recommended.

Thorpe Park all the way.

Chessington is really bad. It's more family orientated. The good rides from there moved to thorpe park.

Alton Towers is good aswell, but it always seems to be a lot busier than Thorpe Park.
