  1. Good luck

  2. wh i went for mine... well it was my first n last ever.. i passed :)

so jus chill ur instructer will take u on the route b4 ur test, so jus remmeber the turns n look out for trafic n signs n don't worry, leave the worries for the examiner ;)

  3. breath in and hold your breath for seven seconds , do this several times. you will feel a lot better

  4. i would have said the same as enxhi so i shall just say best of luck to you :-)

  5. just pretend its not a test. its a practice drive just like each one you've done so far. pretend the instructor is someone you're comfortable with. if you make a mistake, don't flip, that'll make it worse, stay calm and fix it, or else you might not pass. and if you don't, it's ok, there's always next time! just work harder in your weak areas, remember practice makes perfect!

    GOOD LUCK! :)

  6. When I take a pupil for lessons, I'm thinking about the test. I'm making a few observation points for this pupil.  How do they react to the first hour of lessons, ( I NEVER do 1 hour lessons) I watch them closely taking mental notes at how they respond over the weeks of lessons.  I then make a decision for their test.

The only trouble with those observations is that they could be all wrong on the day.  The main fault here is the PUPIL.

You need a positive attitude.  Don't go to your test appointment telling your instructor that you had a bad dream last night and I failed.... DON'T SAY A WORD.  BE POSITIVE.

It really does work.  I had one guy who was brilliant, only a few lessons needed and on the day of his test he told me about a dream he had night before he failed on the left reverse. Guess what. HE DID FAIL.  I was gutted.  He went 2 weeks later and passed.

Sometimes I find a pupil is really bad for the first hour and I feel that the best thing to do is to forget the practice lesson.  I take them for coffee at the local tesco's.  Seems to work

Not knowing what you are like as a driver, but one thing you must always remember is that the examiner is not GOD.  They eat, sleep, and pee like you and me.

I find that if YOU break the ice first by talking to the examiner will help.  One pupil had 2 tests with the same examiner and when I eventually got her she was a real quiet  girl.  Not a word, so we worked on that and she eventually started to talk while she drove. She went for her test and sure enough Big Ron walked out.... I said hello and said to him that Claire thinks your going to fail her today, Big Ron looked at her and told her (sarcastically) " Claire, I get £10.00 for every pass and £50 for every fail...."   Claire giggled and went off with him, listening to them talking away to each other.  Afterwards she came big and PASSED.

So, be happy, be positive, you would not be driving if your instructor didn't think you are capable.

JUST GO OUT THERE AND PASS.  YOU CAN DO IT.

GOOD LUCK, TELL US HOW IT GOES.

  7. The most important things to remember are these.

    1.  You have all the time in the world.  YOU are driving that vehicle...no one else!

    2.  You are as entitled to be on the road as anyone else.  NEVER feel like you are in anybodies way!

    Good luck to you!
