It`s nice to be important, but it`s more important to be nice! Quote Agree or disagree you decide?

I think it's more important to be nice ... if nice means kind, thoughtful, polite, even-handed and even-tempered. Important does not necessarily mean universally acknowledged as important or even famous. By being "nice", and therefore making a difference, one can be important to an individual or to a community. I know that I remember even the smallest act of kindness done to me, long after I've forgotten the name of, er, someone or other who is famous for, er, something or other!

Agree.  The fact is, that people who aren't nice simply aren't important to me. That means that all people I consider important are nice.
