Question:

Its odd for me to show my teeth when I am smiling?

So I guess I grew up never showing my teeth when I smile. The thing is is that I have fabulously clean and straight teeth. But it seems, however, that when I do try to show my teeth, it looks like I am growling rather than smiling.

I am guessing that it is because I have big lips (not abnormal, but good size) or I am just not used seeing me smiling while showing my teeth. Anybody have any suggestions or advice?

  2. The thing about a good smile is to make it look genuine.

  3. show off those pearly whites because america has an obsession with nice teeth.

  4. Practice smiling in a mirror.  You'll become used to it and may adjust your smile to your preference until it beccomes a natural habit.

  5. It isnt odd. Be proud of your smile.

  6. Practice your smile in the mirror.  Go out with a close friend and practice.  (a good friend will let you know if it looks like a growl)...

I laugh a lot and a smile comes really natural.  You just need to SMILE :) more.
