It's not the end of the world, places in the U.S. have gotten snow in June. So you're just experiencing below normal temperatures and above average precipitation. It'll change soon.

Do you live near higher elevations like a mountain range, probably in the rockies? The rocky mountain states get snow into May every year.

You shouldn't be extremely surprised by it. Of course its spring now, but that does not mean that cold air masses can't move in and be partly responsible for the development of snow and other wintry precipitation. I've seen snow in May before in Illinois.
