  1. this is going to be pretty nerdy but consider the character nynaeve from the wheel of time series. She starts out with immense power but can only use it when she loses emotional control. When she tries to control her power while calm and collected she always fails because of her own chaotic nature. She tries to fight her powers and force them to function, this fails because in reality she is fighting herself. The ability to use her powers comes into bloom only when she ceases to fight/force them, she submits and gives up trying to control her powers and in so doing gives up trying to fight and control herself thus paradoxically removing all resistences to her control of said power. Sometimes you just have to "get down with the sickness". Relax and let your mind be your mind.

  2. Everything is transient, including states of mind. When this state of mind passes, clarity and focus will take its place.

  3. do you play any instruments? or have any programs like fruity loops, i've always found being creative with music is an excellent way to clear the smoke.

  4. AGH I hate that!!! I know what you mean! I can't write tho so I've never been able to put it into words like that but I feel that way all the time.

  5. Start writing poetry.

Poems can be abstract and make no sense.

Its a good way to get everything and anything out.

  6. Recognize that you wanted to think. Recognize then that you wanted to think about the things that have resulted in you feeling trapped. Then consider something else that you might like to do, or something else that you might like to think about.

There are a million things at least to think about, it is possible to find some new things to consider in our thinking.

  7. what a shame, it sounds exactly like writing is the one thing you need to do to vent and get all the confusion out of yourself.  Any real writer has that mess buzzing around in their heads.  The trick is not to panic but to write anyway. It's in the writing and venting and gutting yourself that you CAN make sense of stuff.  We all have times when we can't say a word.  What you vent may not make sense, nor be very pretty, BUT what's underneath will, if you give it time and just be patient.......................this too will pass.

  8. Get your head out of your head and stick your hands into some clay..this is the best reliever of my too-many-thoughts brain.  Put on some groovy music and CREATE something.  Sing really loud along with the tunes...it's hard to think when you are screaming and dancing around a table covered in clay.

  9. Sounds like you have a case of writer's block. My advice to you is to write out those words anyway. Make them into a Haiku poem, even if it doesn't make sense.

  10. i know what you mean!

you try to grab one simple idea, to mold it together,

to figure things out, but it all just slips from your grasp and you can't understand yourself.

    i started to write,

    it really helped me.

    good luck

  11. Well it sounds like your explaining racing thoughts and that can be easily taken care of by taking some medication. talk to your doctor if that's what you feel it is.

but if this is the mind of an artist put it on paper, whether its pictures or words and that should help you release something and then later you can work on making sense of it.

  12. Write all your thoughts in a journal some day you'll pick it up and read it and it all might just make sense, heck who knows it could make for a good book or great poetry later on down the road.
