then quite simply he is obliged to us. But I doubt if the right wing Christian could ever understand that.

  1. That's the worst logical thinking I have ever witnessed. When God had finished creating the world and everything was in order,He thought to himself : "What a pity, all this beauty of this world can only be appreciated by Me alone" He then decided that He should create a being who would be able to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the earth. That being was a human. Thus God wanted someone to behold the beauty of the world and who will inhabit the earth and look after it.In turn God would look after this being (human). So,God is obliged to us as you have said my lord but all He wants from us is to do what He created us to do.If for example you buy a car then you would look after it and take good care of it but the car must also do its job of providing you with transport. That's the basis of our relationship with God.

  2. Did your parents ask you or did they just have you?

Based on your logic,  they are obliged to you.

Although just what that means I don't know.

    Obliged to do what???

Please come back and remind me of this question when one day you have your own teenage son who also thinks you as the parent owe him everything.

  3. He   (GOD)..  also  did  not  ask to be  created....

aAN   WHO  ARE   HIS  /HER  PARENTS  ANY WAY??..

  4. "Is man one of God's blunders? Or is God one of man's blunders? "

  5. Some have pointed out the parent-son analogy.  There are some gifts that are generally considered to be of such quality, that even if one doesn't ask for them, to say one never wanted them is judged to be the worst form of ingratitude and conceit.  Life would be one of those!

Yes, the parent and child are obliged to each other. although, my preference is that most of the favor should flow one way:  Down to the young, in the direction of the future.  I don't feel obliged to my parents, and welcome favor from them.  Meanwhile I feel very obliged to my children, to whom all my favor flows.

  6. God is obligated to us... you are right. Read the Bible.. you'll see. He promises us salvation, eternal life and eternal blessings both on earth and in heaven. He will bless you and all of us with the desires of our heart... but there is a catch. You must obey his word ;-). There's where your real freedom of choice is.

  7. Hm, I wonder how you can ask what does not exist if they want to exist.

  8. Life is God's blessing!  Live it!  Don't abuse it
