Its so weird seeing Georgian soldiers flown back home in our planes.?

They almost look our troops but then i step back and realize they are not. Its weird seeing soldiers from another country coming off our planes to tend their own country from Russia. To me Georgia is almost like a little brother country we need to tend to and watch over.

It was sad watching them leave.  I'm a contractor working on the camp where the majority of them work.  They had busses for them but they seemed so eager to go home and fight, some had sadness in their eyes.  A lot of them just walked up to the flight line with a back pack, AK and pictures of Jesus.  They were a good bunch of people, God bless them.

Not really we sent 25 billion dollars in weapons and planes to israel. Alot of the worlds military is made up of old American and European tanks, and armored cars.

We do I want to see the threat of Force put on the table the RUssians arn`t stupid they`ll back down....Russia is talking tought and so should we.....I am very upset about the fact that the threat iof force has been takin off the table by everyone but McCain......I mean Bush should tell the Russians flat out you stop it or you`ll have us to deal with.....and dispite what the media says we have over 400000 troops all across Europe all ready to go....we could easily deploy 50000 of them to help Georgia and thats what we should do the Russians would back dow almost emadilty....

Iraq is "your little brother" too. Therefore USA is in Iraq.

Poor american "little brothers"! All of them go toward bloody chaos as in Iraq now.

And Georgia, by the way. If Georgia was smart country it became now as Azerbaijan or Kazakhstan - strong and with international respect.

I noticed that a couple of years ago when I would watch tribute videos on YouTube to the Georgian troops in Iraq.  They look so much like American troops.  Actually, sometimes the Polish really do as well.  Our allies, new little democracies, and we do need to watch our for them.

mkimkilo I never fail to be surprised at the complete naievity of the general american public as to the invincibility of american forces! The American military is believed to be the best in the world only due to the c**p which Hollywood spouts out` It is very rare that Hollywood or even the usa education system dares to mention American military defeats of which there are numerous.
