Its such a bulllshit how google earth put the name "arabian" gulf next to the PERSIAN gulf, what do you think?

when you zoom in on the persian gulf, the body of water between the Persians and all those Arabs, it sez Persian Gulf and arabian gulf, it doznt even say arabian gulf in parenthesis.

dont you think that google earth is supposed to abide by the UN laws on geographical names, where it has been agreed on 100000000 times that it is in fact PERSIAN GULF.

  1. They are under no obligation to go by the UN laws.  Maybe they should call it the Red Sea which is an older name for it that was used by some European nations until the nineteenth century.


  2. I agree.  The Persian Gulf is the Persian Gulf.  I was looking for Jerusalem one time to answer a question on YA.  Jerusalem is not a place name on Google maps.  I would like to know why Whatchamacallit, Chad is listed but not Jerusalem.
