It's summer now and im starting to wear my sleeveless tops for matches. But i want to know how to get my arms bigger, and which ones should i get bigger? And what are the best ways of doing this without going gym just using dumbells and stuff around the court and the house? Please help!

  1. Oh goodness. These Rafa clones need to stop.

Bulging muscles are not a requirement for effective tennis. I would recommend studying plyometric exercises if you aren't interested in working out at the gym.

And seriously, wear a traditional tennis jersey. No one is interested in the gun show.

  2. Sorry, but are you more interested in your look or your tennis?  Focus on your game.  Sleeveless tops are not even really tennis (and shouldn't be) anyways.

  3. do push ups and stuff... i started playing tennis again this summer, and my biceps are way bigger than before... so just go practice out on the courts with a buddy. you'll get a nice tan too=)

  4. call Rafa ;):P

He says in an interview ``he just plays on court, he doesnt even go to the gym``!

  5. Before you get started you want to remember that you want to work both arms, yes Rafa's left arm is still larger than his right but that is only because he plays everyday and that arm is doing most of the work. Try to strengthen both your right and left arms.

A good way to start is with light weights, go to the gym use the lifting machines and the free weights that are working the particular areas you want to develop.

For example: I do bench press, bicep curls, vertical bench press, the row machines, etc. there are so many options, but remember it is not the amount of weight you use it is the amount of reps you do. So start off light with a lot of reps and then as time goes on you can add more weight.

Now if you do not have access to a gym work on Push ups, pull ups, and get out on the court. People dont realize this but tennis is a great workout for every area of the body, the more you play the more fit you will become. So get out and play as often as possible.

Your arms will build up over time and you will start to notice your racquet speed picking up.

    Hope I helped! Good Luck.

  6. The fastest way to show others that you've grown muscles is to photoshop your photo with Rafael Nadal's photo. Put your head in rafa's body, and not the other way around. If you don't know how to do it, ask someone who has the skills. It would be worth it and it would be done in less than a day.

    Good luck.
