Its the first day of school tomorrow need help on how to get to sleep

Turn off the computer.

Lay in bed and if you have a TV in your room, turn it on but keep the volume low. I get bored of it and fall asleep, it may help you.

Listen to music, just keep the volume low.

I don't think its possible to sleep before the first day of school...

I'm sure after the first 3 days you won't want to go back.

the first day of school is always exciting/nerve racking and makes it hard to sleep the night before.

so its not unnormal.

just try to clear your head, or listen to soft music:)

or think about how great its going to be getting to see friends tomorrow and have a fresh start!

3- and close your eyes and try and let your mind just drift away!

You are to hyped up about school to sleep. Sorry, hopefully you will have a short day! But when you come home from school, try not to take a nap and tomorrow night you will sleep like a charm!

What I do when I need to fall asleep is

-listen to music (softly cuz i keep it on in the night)

-count down from 100

-read for 30 mins

-watch tv for 30 minutes

-clear my thoughts of whats preventing me from sleeping

and if those dont work, do what ever makes u really tired for 10 minutes and then find a really comfy spot on ur bed and you should just fall asleep

I like to read a book because it really makes my eyes tired. If you are nervous or excited draw or doodle a little - or you could list your classes or draw a map of where they are. If neither of those work you could threaten yourself to do something you don't want to do like clean your room, good luck for your first day of school!
