  1. Every job you take should teach you something new... It's all about trying to make yourself more "valuable" in the job market... It's better to take a lower paying job and an entry level position in a company that will teach you something and provide you a more valuable resume for the future than it is to take a "scab" job that pays the bills but leads to a dead end... what do you do now?...

  2. Depends on where you are and what kind of job you're prepared to do .... start small and work up.

  3. Don't give up! Be strong and have faith.  Can you go back to school? Maybe change your occupation. Heck, you could look into modeling :)

  4. Michael:  What kind of work are you looking for?  Did you study in any particular field?  Have you thought about becoming an entrepreneur?

  5. Don't give up! lol

I sent out my CV about 20 times and at least I got a job!

So keep sending out your CV and your lucky day will come.

    Good Luck. = )

  6. Put on a fake east-european accent and apply for a job in Spar, or Xtravision, or McDonalds

They'll be hammering down the door to hire you!

  7. Go on monsterjobs.ie! Its really good. Or do what i did and do a course and they will get the job for you, im only 20 and i have a good job now thanks to that course i did in cork and yes im from ireland!!

  8. Just do something temporarily, work in a shop, restaurant, anything..and take night classes and beef up your CV.

  9. I did notice when I visited, last year, how many foreign people were working in the pubs and restaurants. It looks like Ireland's going the same way as England. Too many foreigners, and not enough jobs to go around.
