  1. Hopefully, not all will be so blinded by anger, but it's possible. Check out the PUMAs. They're all over that.

  2. doubt it. its against their interest. Palin is far right.  No birth control, no abortion even in cases of rape.

  3. I don't think the Republicans are overly likely to attract the feminist vote, no.  You need more than 2 X chromosomes to appeal to feminists (or at least to appeal to this feminist.)

  4. It's a lie.

A Democrat will not vote for Palin who is against choices.

Palin opposes everything Hillary stands for, including abortion rights and environmental preservation. Ultimately, as many have pointed out, but as is typically forgotten in the light of daily events, it will be Obama vs McCain, and not Biden or anyone else vs Palin.

  5. Listen up.  Really.  Pay attention here and you'll learn something very important.

Women - ESPECIALLY feminists - are not stupid, or shallow, or vapid enough to switch their vote from a Democratic moderate who is eminently qualified to a Republican Religious Right nutball who thinks we're on a mission from God in Iraq and that women need to be told what to do with their bodies.  I don't know a real feminist alive who would vote for that sort of nonsense.  Women don't "blindly" vote any more than men do.  There is no difference in the percentages of men and women who are fools and morons.  I worked on Hillary's campaign.  Yesterday over 50 people I used to work with in one of Hillary's Indiana campaign offices got together for drinks after work.  They would all without exception rather eat dirt than vote for McCain and Palin - especially Palin.

    EDIT:

Do you really believe that people on the Internet - where malcontents go to pretend they're what they aren't, and people lie without fear on a regular basis - is a better barometer of this than flesh and blood people who aren't hiding behind a computer?  lol

Sarah Palin said she is happy about the choice her daughter made.  But Palin also wants to see Roe v. Wade overturned.  So she's not really interested in her daughter having true choice, just the choices she thinks are right.  That's a Republican feminist for you.  They make about as much sense as being a Jew for Jesus.

  6. If all blacks should vote for Obama like the Obama-bots say then yes all women will vote for McCain/Palin using the Obama dems way of thinking

  7. I seriously doubt McCain picked Palin for the purpose of gaining women's votes. He knows d**n well that Hillary supporters are in a world of their own.  They have proven this by siding with a man that Hillary said was not ready to lead, simply because she had no choice but to endorse him after she got owned.

  8. There may be some feminists who will do that.  But I am a huge feminist and I would love to see a woman in the white house, but that woman would have to be qualified and would, first and foremost, have to support women's issues, which Palin emphatically does NOT.  I do not consider a vote for Palin a vote for feminism and I can not respect someone who would vote for Palin simply because they want a woman in the white house

  9. Its true woman that were going to vote for..........?

    is not a question

  10. some will as Barack Obama kind of hurt everyone feeling when he

shot her down...h**l has no fury like a women scorned!

it won't be long now!...I think John McCain sure picked a dandy for

vice president..so Obama may be saying *sayanara*

  11. MOST feminists are not going to "blindly vote" for a ticket with an anti-choice, anti-s*x ed candidate.

Admittedly, there are some Hillary supporters who will vote for McCain, mainly because they don't like Obama. I doubt that Palin is going to draw over any more Hillary supporters than McCain already has. But, I never supported Hillary so maybe her followers aren't as feminist as you might think.

  12. Palin embodies everything the womens feminist movement fought for: Career AND family, removing the 'glass ceiling', etc. All women should embrace her as a champion of their cause.

  13. I am voting for McCain, but not because he picked Palin. Although, I like her. I am pleased that he picked her, she isn't the reason that I am voting for McCain. I am voting for McCain, because I will NOT vote for Obama. McCain could have picked Clinton to run with him and I would still vote for him.

VP isn't that important to me. Although it is important the actual PRESIDENT is more important.

So if you give me Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin.....I am voting for the latter.

Plus, she seems to be a pretty AMAZING woman! I would be more that happy to put my support behind her as the fist woman in the White House!

  14. NO--I know a lot of Hillary people and they are voting for Obama. They can't stand Palin because her views are the opposite of theirs.

  15. horrendous grammar, but yeah i hope that hillary supporters realize the simmilarities between her and Obama and don't vote for an extremist like Palin

  16. No, I don't think so, that was the strategy for the republicans. But not all black people are voting for Obama.

  17. Huh?

  18. That's a theory, which is why McCain took a last-ditch effort to try and claim some of the Hillary supporters.  Without them, he wont stand a chance.

  19. I think these women are angry and voting for McCain not because the female candidate for President lost, but the way she was treated by Obama, his campaign, his supporters and his preachers.

They may also be unimpressed that Obama, who says he is for equal pay in the workplace, pays female staffers in his campaign thousands less than he pays the men.

  20. no a lot of the hillary supporters will vote for obama because hillary came out and said that she supports him....

    McCain/ Palin 2008

  21. Most of Hillary's supporters are firmly pro-choice and find Palin to be offensive.

  22. I wasn't going to vote for Hillary no matter what. I didn't want her to win because I felt she was to forgiving of her husband for cheating on her and I said I would never vote for her based on that. If Condi was running I would vote for her. I will not vote for Palin. I wish we could switch out votes. For example. Vote for John Mccain for president and Obama for VP. i would be happy with that ticket/

  23. Kindly like the 95% of blacks that are voting Obama to make history.

It hurts when it works against you doesn't it?

Obama should have embraced Hillary, instead he kicked her to the curb!

  24. Not all women are going to vote for her, obviously.  But she is proving to have wide appeal and will bring in a lot of votes from women who like Hillary because they wanted to see a powerful woman in a position of power.

The Democrats are permanently damaging their brand by attacking her the way they are.  I have noticed Dems brutalize women that don't agree with them at the local level for years.  It's shocking to see it play out on CNN, however.  These are historic times.

  25. No. Actually I heard many Hillary supporters that I know saying that they were very turned off by McCain's pick, and that they were going to vote for Obama. So it backfired!

  26. I would never have voted for Hillary Clinton, she is a shrew and poor choice for leader. Hillary and Sarah couldn't be more different and I love Sarah Palin.

  27. Good question.  I think women vote on issues that relate to themselves, their families, and communities.  Not because someone on the ticket has a v****a.  Sorry, it needs to be said.
