What song would you liked played at your funeral, and whats the wierdest song you have heard anyone reguest

The song that's been my first choice when I'm finally invited on to Desert Island Discs is also rather appropriate for such a situation. It's The Moody Blues' "Go Now"!

The weirdest "play out" after a cremation didn't seem right as something enjoyed by the deceased, but must have been one of his favourites. It was Leonard Cohen's "Bird on a Wire".

I'd want something upbeat and fun.  Nobody is allowed to wear black and I want to be cremated, put in a huge firework and let off on my birthday!!!!  I don't want people to mourn me, I want them to celebrate my life!!!!

Unless Elton John writes yet another version of "Candle in the Wind" for me, I'd like to have either Louis Armstrong's or Mama Cass' version of "Dream a Little Dream of Me." Maybe both.

The weirdest request I've heard (which was carried out) was "Time Warp" from Rocky Horror, and everyone was asked to perform it, as well. Kind of fun, but way bizarre!

At my funeral: I did it my way, I have a dream and Auld Lang Syne (however that's spelled!) - I've spent way too much time thinking about this for being only 24!

weirdest song... no idea actually, but my mum used to joke that she wanted to be buried in a bag of the local supermarket when they had this slogan "you'll come back happily" (ok, translation doesn't sound as good, but for those who know Dutch: "U komt tevreden terug"), so that's the weirdest funeral request song I've heard so far!

What I would like: "The Parting Glass" sung by voices alone. It's a traditional song that celebrates the end of a life well lived. It finishes:
