Hi,

I have a PC and it's shared by me and my brother. There are two different user names on PC. so when I log in, I click on my user's name and my brother would click on his user name. There is an itune on the PC and we do not want to put our songs together since our music taste is different. My ipod synch automatically once connected to the PC. That means it will also upload my brother's songs into my ipod in which I do not want to. What do I need to do? Can we have two seperate itune on one PC? Thanks.

  1. your brother must download Itunes when he is signed on under his account number

  2. Yes you can. Go to the Start menu and right before you click on iTunes, hold the Shift key down, then click on iTunes, and don't let go of the Shift button until you see a dialogue box pop up. Click on make a new library or whatever, then you can create separate libraries for you and your brother.

  3. I don't think you can, especially if the Itunes application is installed as a shared application rather than for each user.
