Itunes File Sharing! HELP?

I am currently listening to a shared itunes file from someone in the appartment next door. Is there anyway for me to move his some of his music to my playlist and ipod? its not letting me just drag and drop.

No, the sharing feature in iTunes is for playback only.  You would need to have filesharing access (like SMB, CIFS, AFP, FTP) to the file to add it to your Library.  Only files in your Library can be added to an iPod.  And then they must not be protected by FairPlay unless you own them.  Apple would get sued up and down by the RIAA if they let you take songs from other users like that.
