Question:

Itunes Music Backup Question?

I have 1500 songs on my ipod (about), and have never backed it up. I want to back it up just in case my computer crashes, but was wondering if there was a more time/cost effective way of backing it up rather then on CD's.

  1. It may not be necessarily be cost-saving, but saving music files to an external hard-drive rather than to the computer can be both time- and space-saving. Plus, you can also use it to save other important documents and files.

You can get good hard-drives for less than $100 from any electronics retailer.

  2. I Used DVDs for this but , you could use a external hard drive.

  3. hardware

  4. get itunes backup/transfer software from http://www.ipodtocomputer.net/itunes-lib... you can backup from one computer and restore to another, very easy to use.

  5. get yourself a jumpdrive with enough memory to hold your music...itunes do have a back up thing but it will back your music and save it to your computer ..makes no sense...
