  1. Well, you can change the way iTunes imports it so that it is saved as a WAV file which is readable by Audacity. To do this go to the iTunes menu > Preferences > Advanced > Importing. Change the "Import Using" so that it is at WAV. Now when you import it is saved as WAV. Now to use your file in Audacity, you just have to find where iTunes saved your WAV file. This is normally in Macintosh HD > Users > [Your Name] > Music > iTunes > iTunes Music > [Artist Name] > [Album Name].

Note: Anything with [] around it, replace with whatever it says. e.g. [Your Name] would turn to "special kae" or whatever your user name is on your computer (usually your real name).

Hope this is clear enough. Enjoy Audacity!

  2. audacity will read almost any music file and even from audacity if you go to the file menu you can export the file to be many different formats. With audacity you can format to be .mp3 .wav etc. there are a lot of options.

  3. I'm not too sure what you mean but a programme called tunebite can convert iTunes format files to .mp3 to play in Windows Media Player.

    You can download it here:

    http://tunebite.com/en/remove_drm/index....

The free trial only converts the first 10 seconds of the song so I would search for a serial number on the internet to unlock the full programme if I were you :)

    Easy enough to find.

    Good luck!

  4. If you can get file on iMovie put the file into the timeline and save it then im pretty sure you can put the file in audacity if not if your computer has a recorder you can play the sound and record it then open it on audacity.

    Hope that helps
