Itunes help and ipod help?

Recently whenever I delete a song off of any of my playlists on itunes they will not delete on my ipod (And yes I do fully sync it and everything) I have noticed though that it is mostly the songs that I transfered from limewire onto itunes that will not delete, but some of the song I ripped from cds are doing the same thing.

My ipod is a 3rd generation pink 8gb nano

you have to delete the song from the library.  when you put songs into a playlist, it doesn't copy the song, it just makes a shortcut to the actual song file.  so when you delete the song in the playlist, you only delete the shortcut.  you have to actually go into the library and delete the song file.  if that doesn't work, and the songs still go on your ipod, then your ipod is haunted :P
