I had itunes on another computer but that computer fried so it had to be replaced. All of my itunes was lost on that computer, I did not back it up on a disc and I sold my iphone and got a new one. I did not sync the new iphone to the old computer. My question is, are my itunes songs I purchased gone forever or is there something I can do.

  1. No, you still have the files you purchased. Apple wouldn't do that to you. Install your iTunes if you already didn't, run iTunes, then go to Purchase History. You should find it there.

If you don't, then you might want to visit the Apple website, go to Support, and E-Mail them to inform them of your problem. It states on the site that they will respond within 48 hours.

  2. Check out http://www.pchelpdoc.com

Found it very helpfull maybe it can help you too.

    Goodluck!

  3. I'm afraid if you didn't save them or burn them to CDs, they are gone!

iTunes, unlike Napster are kept on your computer and not saved in your iTunes account.
