Itunes installer wont open?

i just reformatted and im trying to install itunes but when i click on the install file nothing happens! no error message nothing. please help.

Did you try restarting your computer? That usually works.

Or try re-downloading the file, the one you have may be corrupt.

If you did both, and it didn't help, try rebooting in safe mode (restart the computer, and tap F8 until the menu comes up) and install it in safe mode.
