Itunes library consolidation ?

I just had to do a system restore on my PC because my computer was acting up. Needless to say I lost all the music on my Itunes. I have all of my music in the my music folder but it is a shared folder. there is over 2000 songs in there when about half of that is actually my music. I did the consolidate library feature on my itunes and I have it saved under previous itunes libraries. I tried to load this on to my itunes, but nothing happens. I'm hoping there is a way that I haven't thought of to get this to work. My only other option would be to upload all of the music on my computer and go throughout my entire itunes and delete the songs I don't want. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

i did this to and i had to go trough and delete them all sorry
