Itunes - possible to copy library???

last summer Chris (my brother) had used my folks pc for itunes. I do not have his login info (he just passed) yet saw his library of music & audio books pop up. Is there a way I can burn all this onto a CD?

Any help would be great. I am really afraid of losing it.

  1. according to me you dont need a pass to burn the full library.just put a cd on in cd/dvd writer and clk the burn on the bottom right corner.

i  guess u cant copy the whole thing in a cd..best to know the location of the music files in the pc. then you can directly go to the location and copy them in a external hard drive if you want to :)

    Or here is another way.

    go in the iTunes

    Click File

and then Click Back up to  Disk

you get a pop up window which says,

    Welcome to Itunes Backup

Backup your iTunes library to CDs or DVDs.

    and options..

~Back up entire iTunes library and playlists

~Back up only iTunes Store purchases

and Only Back up items added or changed since last backup

chose the desired one and proceed :)

    hope it works!

  2. What you can do is select the songs in your library and create a playlist. after the song is in the playlist, right click on it and it will say "burn playlist to cd". That should allow you to burn it to a cd. There are other ways too but I don't have time to post it. Sorry. I'm sure someone will be able to help you. Goodluck

  3. you just have to burn tons of cd's?

    hope i helped!
