  1. 1) Why would you want to do that? It would make your music collection look sloppy, and it wouldn't respect the creative choice of the artists, who often capitalize song/album names in interesting ways to highlight meaning. Plus it's just grammatically incorrect, which is annoying.

    2) You can't change everything to lowercase in one swift blow on iTunes. There are a couple ways you can speed up the process if you really want to.

    Method 1:

You can change blocks of information at a time by selecting multiple songs with a common denominator and using "Get Info" from the right click menu. For example, if I were changing all my "Queen" into "queen," I would select all of my Queen songs by holding shift to select multiple. Then I would right click (or, on a Mac, Ctrl click) one of the songs, and select "Get Info." I would click "Summary" from the top of the box, and under "Artist" I would change "Queen" to "queen." This would change the artist of all the songs I selected from Queen to queen. You can do the same with Album names, albums artists, and genres. For song names, you would still need to change them individually.

    Method 2:

Select all your songs by holding shift. Then right click and select copy. Open a blank Word document and paste all your songs' information into that document. Then in the edit menu, choose "Select All." In the Format menu, select "Change Case." Select "lowercase." All the information for your songs will become lowercase. Then you have to copy that information piece by piece back into your iTunes library.
