Itunes trouble (burning playlist to disc)??

Question

im trying to burn a playlist to a disk, and i have done this many times before and have not had any trouble. Now, eveery time i "burn playlist to disc" it checks the media and then it just stops, and i know its not the disc cause ive already have gone through 5 or 6 of them. please help!!!

What I do to burn a disc is this....

1. Make the playlist.

2.When your playlist is finished, and you have your disc in the dvd/cd slot on your computer (the actual computer, not the screen) click "Burn Disc" on the right hand side

3.It should start burning, but if it doesn't, these might be the reasons...

You might have put too many songs on the playlist, and the CD only has so much GB/KB. (gigabyte, kegabyte) Usually the amount of GB/KB that you can hold on that CD is shown on the CD. It also shows how many minutes that is. You can check how much GB/KB all of the songs on your playlist are, when you go to your playlist, and look at the bottom of the screen, and it should say how many GB/KB, or even TB (terabytes) and how many minutes it is. If there are to many songs, just delete some and burn them on another disk.

If this is not the case, then you could try a different CD, but I can't think of anything else. Hope this helps!

this happened to me once. you either dont have a cd in the drive or the cd you think is blank is'nt. if it is not one of these either give me more info or this is all my advice i have.
