  1. I don't really want to go against what your mum says as mums are usually always right, but if it is all healed up and its six weeks ago when you had it done then there isn't a problem, that's about when i changed mine! Make sure though that when you get a new one that you sterilise it properly before use!! have a nice holiday!!

  2. 6 weeks? you are joking right. Give it another 3 months at least. Although I would suggest leaving it for a year, because thats how long it takes to fully heal. Just because it looks fully healed doesn't mean it is.

  3. Providing there is NO pain in the area at all and or redness, you should be ok to take it out.

just dont leave it out for a long period of time and make sure the new belly bar is clean, and so must your hands be!

    good luck.

  4. Your good to go!! I changed mine after 4 weeks and I had no problems!! I would still ask your Mum first!!! If you do change it, keep it clean and sterile!!

  5. Don't do it! Wait longer if you can!

I had my bellybutton pierced and after 6 weeks i changed the bar. But it went in slightly wrong and my body rejected the new bar and pushed it out. I've been left with a pretty nasty looking bellybutton because of that.

You need to let heal for longer, it's not worth it just for the sake of changing the bar for appearance sake! xx

  6. go to your piercer to get him to change it for you...
