  1. Yes.  Just explain it to them they are usually quite nice people if you ask them politely.  If that does not work, go to a police station and they might give you a free ticket after you tell them your story.  Hope you can find your way home.

  2. d**n you got screwed. better get a cup and sit on the corner askin for change.

  3. If you can get a friend to go to any other train station at the same time as you, they can pay for your ticket. Its called lost/stranded passenger.

The station that your friend pays at will phone the one your at and then you will just have to give your name and they will give you the ticket x x

    Hope u get home!

  4. they should let you on if you ride regularly

  5. go and see the train guard, before the train departs, do not wait until they come to you, ask if they can send a bill to your house, or if you have anyone with a credit card to validate this by phone at the local tickets office

  6. Just explain your situation...im sure they will understand. If you have a reported your purse missing or stolen you can get a crime reference number. Show them that number and hopefuly thay have a heart and let you go.

  7. You are responsible for looking after your ticket, if you lose you have to buy another one. The railway does not replace lost tickets like this, they would never take any money if they did that.

  8. No they will not allow you to board a train or travel without a ticket. If it was a season ticket, go to the nearest Ticket Office and tell them you have lost it, they will give you a form to fill in which will allow you a duplicate season ticket as long as you have your details with you. If the photo card is lost they will have to set you up a new one of those as well.  If the local station is where you originally purchased the ticket from then if the clerk is on the ball you should get your ticket almost at once as long as you are in the system. If it is the 2nd time or more you have lost the season then there will be a charge to pay.

Otherwise if it takes longer than at once, you will have to purchase tickets to get you to and from work daily, KEEP the tickets do not surrender them, then when you get your new season ticket, you take these back to the station and fill in a refund form which the clerk will prepare and you will recieve a refund on those tickets within 28 days (The clerk has a set floor limit they can authorise otherwise they have to get the area head clerk / manager to sign them off).

If your ticket was a daily ticket, then sorry to say you have purchase another to complete your journey.

Unfortunatley it is yourresponsibility to ensure your tickets are safe and you have a ticket to complete your journey, otherwise you are travelling illegally and can expect to pay a standard, penalty or fine.

    Good Luck.
