  1. maybe its part of your eye? i have a brown dot in my left eye, and as far as i can tell its always been there. its just part of the coloring. however, if this black dot hurts, or is a new thing, or is somehow impairing your vision, i recommend seeing an eye doctor.

  2. It does sound like a floater.  Floaters are just caused by debris in the vitreous fluid of your eye.  You get them more when you get older.  Generally they aren't anything to worry about but you really should have it looked at , as there can be other causes.  They usually settle down and move out of your line of vision after a while.

  3. it's called a floater. they're not harmful.

  4. It sounds like a floater and nothing to worry about.

  5. There is really nothing to worry about, floaters are very common especially when you are getting older.  If you have a sudden increase in floaters you should see a doctor, this could be a sign of a retinal detachment or tear.
