  1. Hmmm, how much better can one get in the amateurs without that kind of recognition, I mean the nationals besides international are the highest levels of competition before Olympic trials.  I mean honestly there some good coaches on your level no ones see your potential?  Hats off to you four just for years of boxing and your already at these high levels. My advice keep doing what your doing and you'll succeed further.

  2. Get a coach.

Video tape your fights and focus on improving your technique and strategy.

Concentrate on endurance training and constantly expand your aerobic exercise.  You can't lose steam at all during a fight.

Spar with a wide variety of people, trained in different styles like Thai boxin or Wing Chun.  Ask for lessons, and have them evaluate your technique.  Learn some of their slip & counter moves.

Continually strengthen and build your abdomen.  Stay lean in the arms & chest.  Focus on speed.

Occasionally switch stance, fight left-handed, practice using one hand only, or fight with an eye patch.  This may sound absurd, but will help you cope in unexpected situations, like  an injury early in the fight.

Travel to different environments to train.  Fighting in Colorado's thin air, or Jamaica's humidity, is very different than boxing in NYC.

Think about the long haul.  Conserve your physique.  This requires that you get hit less, and connect more.  Develop a good long-term strategy for staying in the game.

Know your opponent.  Understand his strengths and weaknesses.  You should have a unique fight plan for every match.

    You're strong!

  3. a professional coach will be able to promote you for a professional career and train you for a strongerand more successful career.. love the sport and admire you from my toes up.. good luck.... did you know danzel washington sponsers and somewhat manages a heavywiehgt boxer? i saw him on friday night fights and did a ringside interveiw with teddy atlas..
